Tari’s Recovery from Open Heart Surgery
I was diagnosed with an extremely rare congenital heart defect, supravalvular aortic stenosis, which is normally found only in infants and young children who have Marfan Syndrome. When my heart began to fail, they planned surgery to replace my aortic root and valve. By God’s grace, I was able to keep my natural valve and hope never to need surgery again. I made this video to help people who are facing the prospect of this difficult surgery.
